NAD+, AN ESSENTIAL LONGEVITY MOLECULE
NAD+ is too big a molecule to be absorbed through diet, so to ensure we have sufficient levels for optimum health we can supplement its precursor molecules such as NMN or NR. Taking Resveratrol or Pterostilbene boosts the effects of NMN and NR to make more NAD+ than they do alone. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is one of the most important molecules in the body.
Found in every living cell, it functions as a cofactor for enzymes in hundreds of cellular processes. It is also necessary for ATP energy production in mitochondria and activating sirtuins (our longevity genes) for DNA repair. Without NAD+ we would die in less than a minute, so it's essential that the body maintains a good supply of it for optimal cell maintenance.
